Faculty Leader for BTEC - Secondary
My name is Sangeetha Philip and I have been with CIS for 16 years. I’ve been teaching IGCSE/ AS Level Information Technology and Level 3 BTEC Information Technology for over 10 years. I am the Faculty Leader for BTEC Vocational Courses and the School Digital Literacy Coordinator. I have a Masters in Computer Applications and a Diploma in Education and Training. As part of our school’s Digital Citizenship drive, I am a Common Sense certified Educator and a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert for the past five years. Teaching is more than just passing on information and we as teachers need to nurture well rounded adults to meet the challenges of the 21st century. It has been a wonderful journey so far and I strongly believe that Education is a journey, not a destination.
